I contacted Savile Row Magazine offering my freelance services due to picking up their previous edition and giving them some constructive criticism as my initial thought was the quality of design did not match context and target audience. My proposal was to go with a more photographical approach that would resonate with target group and better layouts to give the magazine a more high-end feel, other suggestion made where foiling and different paper stock. I was commissioned for 2 editions wherein the editor would provide all content and rough mock up suggestions for some of the spreads, then I would correspond with editor and advertisers to get various approvals for achieved desired results.
